It's been an absolute age since I updated, for such reasons as falling out of the habit and my scanner dying, among others. I shall be updating once again, but my contributions to Dev will be prose rather than pictures. This is due to motivational prodding from Celaeno. I'm a lifelong fan of Greek mythology, so I'm familiar with a lot of beings called Celaeno, but I didn't know there was a Muse called Celaeno. Specifically the Muse of Inspiration That Comes In The Form Of A Big Stick.

Anyway, this is to reacquaint myself with the wheretos and whyfors of writing. Specifically writing to a deadline. So, the deal is that I have to have submitted a substantial piece of writing no later than midnight on Friday (GMT, of course). If anyone's still watching me, I'll need you guys to yell at me if I don't. Okay?

I'm going to try reviews, maybe essays, standalone short stories, episodic prose. Stuff like that. Oh, and absolutely no fanfiction. I have to come up with my own ideas.

I'm going through all my notebooks of ideas, so expect the first installment next Friday. Get that? NEXT Friday. Not this one. You don't get to yell at me this week.
